My son talking on the phone or skype with his girlfriend. LOL That is what I listen to not sure if that is what I prefer. So cute though. I am very happy about their relationship. Often one of my children is watching a movie or they might have turned on the music. I am OK with it all. I seldom turn on something myself so maybe I prefer it quiet but that is just not going to happen with this many kids. I like Hawaiian/island music IZ and Celtic Women.

I always have my tv on but I couldn't tell you what is playing. I have it on for the company I guess. Sometomes I tune in on the music channels on cable.

When I am alone I love silence, when someone is home I listen to audio books to block out the television noise.

I have quilting shows on that I DVR during the week. Love listening but I do stop to watch quite often!

Audio books or Old Time Radio on my mp3 player which I wear with my headphones in one ear only so I can what's going on in the rest of the house.

I did just set up a video player (tv plus vcr) in my sewing room but earlier this week when I sewed with it on, I noticed I sewed much more slowly while trying to watch a video.

Since i am also a piano student, I listen to a recording of whatever I'm supposed to be practicing. When my piano teacher comes for my lesson and I'm not prepared, she now knows to ask to see what quilting I've done during the last week ;-)
