How about if you alternate the green and pink as it goes round in each block?

(since, you know, you already have the base quilt done.)

And, of course, the OP can use 20 plus pink and green fabrics to give it a bit more interest.

I like yellow but that is a lot of yellow.

And you have 5 weeks to get it finished? Yikes!

I would go simple: snowball 9patch.
Here's the pattern:
http://www.quilterscache.com/S/Snowb...atchBlock.html

And here is a coloring book page so you can try out different colorations.
http://www.straw.com/quilting/articl...allcolor2.html

I would probably make yellow "balls" with green corners and 5 green squares in the 9patch with pink background. Hmmmm... that might look like flowers with green leaves.

Have fun with it. But hurry!

I love PP and love this pattern, have already placed it on my "to do" list.

For your quilt, won't you need a few additional colors?

.........and will there be enough contrast with the yellow as a background?

I do think that your choice of pattern is on the right path...

good luck.

I like Lea's setting, the one that comes up first. When I first read the color requirements I could not picture it at all, but seeing the setting colored, it's lovely
