I am making a Basically Kidstuff quilt out of the fabric pictured below. Keep going down and there is a pattern picture and legend for fabrics. My problem is that I need one more fabric (the "F" fabric) and I have no idea what to use. I want it to be something that will make it pop however I don't want to use pink as I don't know if the person the quilt is for will like pink. What do you think?

Anna, I love those lilac fabrics! I'm probably the least experienced on the board, but I've been looking at lilacs and hydrangeas for spring fabrics, and I would add a tonal on the periwinkle side - as opposed to the fuschia side of purple - to bring out the lilacs.
That is going to be a lovely quilt!

I love those fabrics! How about a peach color?

Hmm, peach might be nice. I thought about a periwinkle as well however have been unable to find one. I have been to the Needle & I in Everett, the fabric store in County Village, Pacific Fabrics and NW Quilters with no luck. I'll just have to keep looking.

Husband says yellow, I think that's too much, how about a lighter shade of purple? Or another shade of green?

Add a tertiary color, halfway between the purple and blue, on the light side. It will really pop! IMHO!!

I was going to say either a light purple or another green, but lighter.
