Alex Anderson, a great teacher and nice person. I bought several of her books, yes she signed them but, who really cares, only me LOL

How true. Ask any of your non-quilting friends and relatives who these people are, and they'll give you a blank stare.
They're only celebrities to us. But they're loved by gazillions of us. :-D

My great niece (she was 10 at the time) and I met Eleanor Burns and she signed our books.

I have also met Lola Jenkins. You should attend anything she is at. This woman is wonderful and so very talented.

I went to a quilt show and met Ami Simms. She signed my altzeimer book and we spoke briefly about my mother who had dementia. She was very personable.

Eleanor Burns, Alex Anderson. Took classes and have books signed by Sally Collins, Paula Nadelstern, Gai Perry, Jean Brown, Georgia Bonesteel and Elly Sienkiewicz.

I met Amy Butler here in Melbourne, Australia at a trade she She signed a book.

Virgina Enright is a well known published quilter here in Melbourne. I have a book signed by her and we once worked for the same boss.I catch up with her at quilt shows.
