I was taught years ago that when my machine feed dogs didn't drop down, to tape an index card over the feed dogs with a little slit in the middle for where the needle will go in or out.

Thank goodness you mentioned putting a slit for the needle. I have got some other feet somewhere I will pull them out and see what they are. Thank you all.
