You know I dont think it would make a difference as to what the gift was. it would be appreciated just for the reason that you took the time to make a gift and send it to someone. But hey thats just MHO...

I have already started (and finished a lot) for Christmas. A few table runners, a quilted photo frame (personalized with a photo), wine coasters, purses/tote bags. I have done a few more but can not for the life of me think of what they are.

Made some Draw string bags, big enought to drag to the beach, or a class, with a strap to toss over your shoulder, in fun colors, with a simple pocket for a water bottle or whatever, those went over well.
I think the little magic flip wallets are cute, but would consider a pocket on the side for change or c-card, pocketsize would be a good thing for ID etc.
But anything for the sewing room is good :)
