Oh, please don't cut them! There may be someone out there who is willing to trade something for them. In fact, if you PM me surely we can do something along those lines. I have some lovely fabrick you maybe interested in and I can rescue these SBS pieces. Not that I don't agree with you about SBS...she absolutely on the bottom of my list, but these fabrics are just too perfect for her and her time....

MAybe you could sew them together like a dresden with a circle in the center. I love the fabrics and I would not make sue either. The only Sue I like is The Demise of Sunbonnet Sue. Google it and you will get a laugh.

They are definitely Sunbonnet Sue dresses. I made one for my great-niece, sewn from fabric from my grandmother's stash, my mother's stash and mine, as well as some I bought. The quilt turned out extremely well --it was my first ever quilt. We all have different tastes and that's just great -- we don't all want to be exactly alike. But the prints are wonderful -- you can barely find a print like that any more. I have no plans to make another -- I've just finished two baby boy quilts using patterns from Overall Bill, Farmer Sam (or Bill), and they're beautiful. I would be interested in what you decide to do with these. As for faces -- only if you can get a pattern and instructions to follow -- my former hobby was doing ceramics and the faces, eyes, noses and all are very difficult to draw or embroidery, or whatever. If I had to draw faces, I think I'd do a different quilt!

I like the fabric. I've some antique blocks given me by a friend (now passed) made with those same fabrics. A treasure for sure. Love the clothes line ideal.
