I think it is friendly banter too but did not want her to feel she had to give it away for little of nothing. Nice fabric, lots of it and so usable in so many ways. If it was me I would have used it up long ago. However to make you all feel better I do have much stuff in my stash that also should have been used up long ago.
What we need here is a fabric swap. Did this at the quilt guild. It was so much fun and new stuff for our stash.

Making a few Halloween lap quilts, or a backing on a Halloween quilt...or even a "What was I thinking" quilt

Also good for doll clothes. Some American doll patterns call for knits although they do not require a lot of fabric.

OH! I am going through TONS of "what was I thinking" fabric. I used to sew all my Gkids baby and toddler clothes. I have more cotton knit than a person could use for TWENTY kids in a lifetime. I don't sew clothes any more and would love the space for quilting fabric. I have been wracking my brain on what to do with all this cotton knit. ANY IDEAS???????

But knit isn't as comfy as fleece and tends to be hard to work with if it is combined with a non-stretchy fabric. I have enough knit fabric here that I could dress every American Girl doll in the world. My American Girl days are over, I don't like sewing doll clothes.

I had this exact material, I used it to make a halloween log cabin quilt(barn raising style), it turned out really neat. Just have to find the right application for that particular material.

They make great dog blankets for the local pound, shelter, SPCA organization. I bought some double knit quilts, unintentionally, at an estate sale but washed them up and gifted them to our vet for animals in recovery after a surgery or for whatever she can use them for. She was touched by the gift and they went to a good new home other than mine!
