I'm picking up my new Janome Horizon 7700 next weekend. I currently have a bottom of the line brother I purchased from Walmart in college.
I'm so excited, I've been counting the sleeps! Too bad naps don't count.

Pfaff that cost $7,000.00 + $2,500 for software and $1,000.00 for hoops and feet etc (it's the price you have to pay in some countries if you want a nice machine). Now that it has died, I would like to get a Bernina 830, except that it costs $13,000 + $2,500 for software...so it will remain a dream.

Bernina 1030 that I bought used 15 years ago-love it, nothing sews like a Bernina. A perfect condition Singer 99 with all the attachments inherited from an aunt. Pfaff 1222E in like new condition that I found in a junk store for $10.00, what a workhorse that one is and the even feed foot is great, a Singer Featherweight, and my latest addition is a Janome Horizon that I also love. Unless I seriously get into FMQ I think I'm done collecting. Every machine has it's strong points, that's why you need so many, right?

I have an assortment. Two featherweights, Viking mega quilter, Spartan, Singer 99, Pfaff 2340, Pfaff 102 (treadle),Kenmore (1945 model) and I just bought a 630 Brother to lean to embroidery. All except te Pfaff102 gets regular use. I have them all set up with different tread in them and use them as I need that color thread. None are named. At my stage of the game, I am lucky to remember the brands.

I have a Bernina 430 QE and love it and I have a Feather Weight that sews very nicely. I also have Singer Quantum that also embroiders, but I don't use it. I also have a Handiquilter Sweet Sixteen sit down quilting machine. I haven't done much on it except practice, but I love the way it quilts.

The Juki is the machine that I want and I certainly cannot afford a machine for $3K.
