There are so many different types and brands of thread out there I was wondering what you prefer to use in your longarm machines and why. I have been trying all different types and have come to the conclusion I need the help and expertise of other longarm quilters. Any and all comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sherryl :D

We tried everything with the Tin Lizzie and based on lint alone, its Superior threads. They do Alex Andersons, Robt. Flynn, and many others. They are all good but plain old Superior works great. Someone told us Presencia but way too much lint. Try several till you find what works best on your machine.

DH does my quilting on LA. His seems to be a thread snob and he has settled on King Tut. That's all he buys.

I'm using Signature 40 weight cotton thread with good results. Yes, there's a lot of lint to clean regularly, but not a problem.

I use a variety of threads on my longarm, but my most used are all Superior Threads, King Tut, So Fine, and Bottom Line.

I also love to use Isacord embroidery thread, it quilts up like a dream and has a beautiful sheen.

I use machine quilting thread from Threadart. With cotton there is a lot of lint so I clean the bobbin area with a brush with every bobbin change. This thread has a knot in almost every cone but the price is right, around $5. I also use the same thread in the bobbin.

I like the thread from Connecting Threads. Reasonably priced and I never have any trouble with it.

I use Superior Threads, they were recommended when I purchased my machine. I use the So Fine, King Tut, and Bottom Line. I also have some from connecting threads but since have used the Superior with so much less lint I no longer use them on my Long Arm.

I use a lot of dif threads. But one thing I noticed with the lint and fuzz issue is that I changed the batting and used some of the same thread that had fuzzed on me another time and I had less fuzz in the bobbin area. So I am thinking a lot of the lint is from the batting. I clean every time I change the bobbin. I really like Essentials threads.

I use anything and everything in my Fusion. My favorite is Isacord. If I use King Tut on top I will use Isacord in the bobbin. I will mix and match.
