My last pattern was Kim McLean's Village pattern. It will take at least a year to make it, so no drafting it myself.
She made it all by hand, but I think I will foundation piece part and machine applique part, and epp part. I'm just finishing my epp La Pass and will post that when done. I went to order a pattern off Craftsy a couple weeks ago when they were having a big sale, and my other half looked over my shoulder and said that's not interesting enough for you, don't buy that! I didn't lol!

I bought the "potato chip bag" pattern just 2 weeks ago and already made 3 of them and have 3 more cut out to make. It's true, you can't make just one!

I bought the A kit called Beach Cottages, The Farm Girl quilt book, a pelican cushion pattern from Craftsy and the Up and Down under pattern. I also bought the fabrics to go with each one. I also bought the marking triangle for my Westalee Rulers.

It is not that I can't draft them, it is that I think buying the directions and getting it done is my favorite way of making quilts. Same with my clothing sewing. I can drape and draft, but, I prefer to buy it and get it over with.

I don't think I ever bought a quilt pattern but I did buy the fabric kit for Ginny Beyer's 2015 Block of the Month from Craftsy. Wow, was that 2015. I better get sewing...

Radiant-by Cozy Quilt Design- It's a blocky, 3-D effect
Labyrinth-Debby Maddy-No Y seams- Nice intertwine effect

They were both recommended as something that my 30 year-old son would like. They look complicated, but I hear that they are both easy. I don't know what I am waiting for!

A book called Ricky Tims' Convergence Quilts. I saw one made up on Pinterest and had to investigate the book. They look pretty interesting and easy to make. But it will take a while to get to them. I am working on one Bargello for my daughter and am buying fabric for another for my son. Fun!
