I think a Friendship Star has half square triangles, this has split side squares

In the FWS, your block is called "Periwinkle"

My mom was given a stack of antique blocks that have yet to be sewn into a quilt, they look just like your picture. Included in the blocks was an old, hand-drawn template labeled "Periwinkle Star". If you google "periwinkle star images" you will find lots of examples.

Thank you all for your help. I think it is most like the Periwinkle Star.
I designed a quilt, and the surrounding blocks, ended up creating this secondary block. But, instead of piecing like these seem to be (X intersection at center), mine is going to go like this:
