I sometimes wish I had a sewing room but I'm doing okay with my little corner of the dinner table.

Ironing and cutting are done on my portable dishwasher

WIP is on a corner of the buffet or draped over a chair back

I don't mind cleaning up

I have to because I don't have a sewing room but that's okay because I can't work in a messy or disorganized space anyway-makes me panicky overwhelmed and physically upset

I hate not being able to find things

I dislike the sandwich making process, especially with a large quilt and no table large enough to take it in one go.

It used to be the cutting......but since I got the Accuquilt, and my triangle rulers ( Companion angle, Easy angle and the Tri Recs set ) cutting is no longer an issue, and my blocks FIT for the first time EVER......

Have you seen Bonnie Hunter's Smith Mountain Morning pattern? I am making this in a King Size for my son, and it came together beautifully with purples, greens and neutral batiks......will post a picture later.....

pinning the layered sandwich is the only part that is not 100% fun for me.

hand sewing the binding and coming around the last corner, my heart sings !

Having a project I am excited to start, then realizing that I have to clean up my sewing room BEFORE I can start. And, obviously, cleaning up after!
