Joanns has their W&N Queen on sale for $12.99 a bag. I thought I read on here somewhere that someone said when it's on sale it is cheaper to buy X amount of bags then the whole bolt and it still equals the same amount that's on a bolt? I have no where to store a bolt so was wondering if this is right. I just need to get more bang for my buck :D

    Thanks, Kristina

A queen sized Warm & Natual packaged batting is equivalent to 3 yards of the 90" batting. $12.99 is a great price! I don't know about the bolts. I have no place to keep one, so I don't buy them that way.

On Black Friday, I bought a full 40 yard bolt of W&N at JoAnns. With the 20% coupone good that morning only, I paid just a bit less than 200.00.....I don't have time to do the math but someone else care to figure it out!!

I like the stuff on the bolt for bed size quilts. The stuff in the package has more wrinkles from being folded. I found I get more puckers to deal with the packaged stuff.

I spritz mine w/water and throw it in the dryer for 10 minutes or so. comes out great and no need to iron!

I read it was costing $179 w/ free shipping. Which is a great deal (if you have the space to store it).

But $12.99 is a slightly better deal on a per yard basis, if all you do is queen size. The advantage of the bolt (other than if you're longarming) is you can do all sizes with less waste.

But I'll stop by Joann's later to pick up a few packages.
    Thanks for the heads-up.

Went to order the batting on-line yesterday and it's already sold out. Nearest store for me is 1 1/2 hours away, but I'm sure they are out too. I bet it was sold out in a very short time. Buying on-line you would think they would have plenty.
