Default What pattern would you use?

I stopped in Walmart yesterday as I heard they had some of their precut packages on clearance. I found these great little packs one 8 piece fat quarter set and the matching jelly roll. Now am at a loss as to what to use them for. I have done all the patterns I have that call for fat quarters. I have searched for a short while on the net through some patterns and nothing has stood out for me. I am wanting to challenge myself slightly since most things I have done are the easy rectangle and square quilts like Yellow Brick Road. I most likely have some other fat quarters and yardage in my stash to add to these if needed. So what pattern would you use with these?

Since some of the prints are large, you probably dont want to cut them in small pieces, how about a snowball, and put the large prints in the middle. Whatever you chose it will be very pretty with these fabrics!!

If you want a modern look one of the BQ patterns from maple island comes to mind , They are nice quilts that look good with big prints and they are super simple !

Raedar63, thanks for the info. I have never heard of BQ before, looked them up and found one called confusion that I love unfortunately it uses lots more than just fat quarters, although that one is now on my must do list. Thanks.

I would absolutely make at least one 10-minute block quilt! What awesome colors. You could then use the jelly rolls for the scrappy border and or scrappy binding.

Sure are pretty fabrics. Not sure if my Walmarts have those, I try not to spend much time there. I have tons of large pieces of fabrics already. I don't buy fat quarters or jelly rolls.

I saw and fell in love with those very same fabrics! Did not buy because I could not envision a pattern either, and I already have way too much stash. Would like to know what response you get, and I will go back to get them!
