I'll never make a double wedding ring, this I'm certain of!

for me the sq. in a sq. looks so easy and gives me the most fits. But as far as blah! factor it's Sunbonnet Sue.

I love log cabins and courthouse squares. My iron is almost as important to me as my sewing machines.

I don't like curves and a lot of points.

Right now, pinwheels are the bane of my existence. No matter what I try, three of the points match perfectly but that fourth point is always off. I know I shouldn't be so picky when it comes to that, but it doesn't make sense to me that three out of four are absolutely perfect but that fourth one is always off.

Favorite though is the nine-patch, can't get enough of them and I can whiz-bang a quilt out in no time doing them. Second favorite is the Double Wedding Ring, I had such a blast doing it and it was so easy that it almost became meditative. I could get lost for hours in that quilt and I do plan on making several more.

Double wedding ring. Curved piecing trips me up. I’ve never gotten a double wedding ring block right.

Usually when I am going to make a quilt I want to be happy doing it so will not do a lot of intimate work because it seems that if it will take too long to do it will never get finished. So like Tartan, if I don't like it I won't do it. Another reason I don't take requests for quilts. It's a hobby for me.

That's funny, I find the nine patch and even the 16 patch the easiest to make. I have trouble marching seams on a lot of other blocks. And no matter how hard I try I seem to always lose my "beaks" on my flying geese. LOL

I haven't run across a block I hate to do, since like others if I dislike a block I just don't do it. For me, it's bias binding. I'll do it if necessary, but I don't like it at all.

Any block with small pieces unless it can be paperpieced. That's why I make so many log cabins.
