That's awesome! You know, its sort of funny that a lot of the males I know appreciate the time and effort that has gone into doing this homemade items. My son won't let me throw out anything that I've made. LOL So boxes of stuff in attic for when he gets his own place.

My son asked me to make him one for his 40th birthday. Everybody who arrived for his birthday was shown the quilt. Sadly my son passed away very suddenly 2 years later.

what a wonderful moment. it sounds like it will be truly a treasured item. i made my son one. he refuses to use it because he's afraid to get it dirty. he treasures it. i just wish he would use it! lol have fun can't wait to see what you come up with.
