    Default What sashing is best?

I’m making the Cookie Cat pattern from American Quilter March 2018 magazine and used everything from my stash except the yellow for the sashing and now I hate it!
Hoping to use the duckies for border.

That’s so cute! I like the brighter green (bottom pic on the left) the best, but all of them seem to work. Nicely done!

Out of those options I would go for one of the greens in the last picture (maybe the one on the left). Have you tried some contrasting colours as sashing? You could pick up one of the colours from the duck border.

You’re right about the yellow not working though.

So cute! I like the green on the left in the lower picture. Just a suggestion--have you tried a matching blue from the duck border? I love the green, but I would have to try blue since it' the duck border just to see how it looks. your work is perfect.

Cute blocks! If you are using the duck fabric, I would try the light blue that is in the squares if you have enough. If not the light green for sashing.

It's wonderful. I'd go with the darker, brighter green. Really a great little quilt!

So Cute! Do you really have to pic just one? I think I would be tempted to use them all. But I guess that would be more like a second 'frame' than a sashing. Hmmm tough choice. They all look good to me. Your kitties are cuties.

I like the darker green in the last pic. Really makes you cute kitties show up.

Thank you for the input(s). The options are the only ones I have enough of and though I like the idea of blue too, it's for a baby girl. I was told no more pink! I'll try to make a choice and put a pix on Quilting Board soon.
