I've got a grandbaby coming in late August. Don't know what flavor yet. DD doesn't know and wouldn't tell if she did know. Anyway, she's using a monkey theme and her colors are brown, green and beiges. So if we get a girl, I'm set.

I'm also expecting a Step-Great-Granddaughter in November. So, some baby here or there is getting a pink paisley and lime green blanket!

THANK YOU, HAPPYNANA!

I'll take some pics when I get it. A rail fence would be easiest and fastest, I guess.

Make it, show it to her, and donate it in her name. She;ll be pleased, and you are rid of it

HappyNana sent me the jelly roll and I got it yesterday. I like the pieces. Pinks and greens and some brown background. Flowers, a geometric figure and a stripe.

Younger DD's baby shower is today. So I won't be working on the pieces until next week. My step granddaughter's baby shower is in a couple weeks. I'm hoping to get a small rail fence quilt done for her by then.

Happy Nana started sewing the strips in sets of four---perfect for an 8" rail fence block. So, I'm going with what she's got started. I wont' need all of the squares-----------So, I'll have to think about where I go next.

This ended up being a win/win situation. I would love to see the completed quit also.
