I just got done shopping at Joanns and they were having a 50% off sale on their red taged fabric. I felt like a kid in a candy store!!! Came across this fabric and couldn't pass it up, now I need some ideas on what to make. I only bought one yard. Maybe some potholders? What do you think?

Place mats, table runner, mug mats, pot holders or apron come to mind. You can mix it up with solids or stripes of the same colors. Enjoy!

Pot holders sound perfect. If you have a yard of fabric you will use less than a quarter of it. Maybe you could make them for your friends too! PS: I love that fabric.

Oooh! That would make adorable placemats with some coordinating stripes or solids added.

Don't you just love that sale. I am always sorry when I get home and realize I only went for 1 yard. Wow at $2.00 a yard for some fabric how can you loose. Have fun with your fabric...I would also suggest pot holders.
