Yes, I just finished a quilt I am donating to Relay for Life last night. I am sad it is finished because I don't have anything to start on (I don't start a project until the one I am working on is finished). I also really like this quilt and it is going to be hard to part with. But my husband reminded me it is going to a good cause. So I will be looking for my next project to start on.

I understand how you feel. I just finished the new Crabapple Hill Quilt Pattern "Calendula Patterdrips Cottage" and am so sad the process is over. It was a lot of embroidering along with color tinting with crayons and it was so much fun to do for this Halloween loving gal. I have been looking around for the next project, but so far none appeal as much as that one did.

Yes, but usually I'm so happy to have it DONE that I do a dance around the house. The children are quite amused by this...

that is why you need more than one in process always....for me anyway...the last stitch on the binding, seeing the finished quilt for the first time ....... joy and sadness

On the other hand, I have a contented sense of accomplishment. I don't always get things finished, esp ahead of time. So I love it when a plan comes together smoothely.

That's exactly how I felt about my warm wishes quilt. Loved the process and the end product turned out lovely. Now I don't know what to work on next. Everything else is tedious and time consuming compared to the warm wishes.

Yes. I feel the same way about a good book or movie.
