    I use 2.0 for regular piecing and 1.8 for paper piecing because the smaller stitch makes it easier to remove the paper.

    Mine is 2.5 unless I am doing colour wash or bargello- for those it is 3.00 or 3.5.

    I use the length that is easiest when I have to use the seam ripper - 2.5.
