The block appears to be the same block that is a 2014 Block of the Month shown in Edyta Sitar's fabric line. Link does not (of course) give the name of the blocks, but the top block sure looks the same. The BOM starts in June.

It does look exactly like it...4-patch & all!!! Thanks, Nana!

Have you ever done one of the quilt shops' "Block of the Month". I've been looking at some but I just don't know. I'm sort of leaning toward "Women of Courage" or this one sounds good too. But just not sure about the whole block of the month thing. Is it worth the money?

The blocks are very pretty but I think it's the quilting that really "makes" it beautiful!!

Well, Dee Dee...Guess I'm not as smart as I think I am! LOL!!! This is taking awhile - I'm getting there tho!

Has anyone recognized the 2nd block (the framed square) yet?

I asked my quilt shop lady & she says it's a snowball. But I don't find a snowball anywhere that looks like it.

    Update:

I have EQ7, and was checking out the block downloads and came across a block that is very similar, except a 4 patch corner was used on the Cherry Chocolate quilt. Another block found on the site is the exact block from the Touch of Lace quilt done by the same person.
The block is called Chantilly Lace, and the other is Connecticut Yankee, both by Judy Martin. They are in her Distinctive Stars series available on EQ site.

Thanks, Nana! I'll check it out. I have EQ7 software on order and it's supposed to arrive Friday - SO excited! Just hope it's easy to use???

Nana, you are spot on! I found a link to the pictures of the blocks in the Distinctive Stars Series and it is the block. Unfortunately, I don't have EQ in any version. If I did, I would definitely order the Distinctive Stars Series -- these are beautiful blocks.

    Thanks for the info.
