I've embroidered Rag quilt blocks. I've also made baby quilts. OESD has the cutest baby dinosaurs. Plus I can digitize.

Don't forget embroidery on quilt blocks. I don't have and embroidery machine but you can embroider anything and just about everything! YouTube has all kinds of videos on embroidery. I mostly blocks for quilts by hand. Pillow cases and small handkerchiefs. Have had fun doing repairs.
