Twins arrived October 11, 2011 - boy and girl, making two quilts (one blue and one pink) for the great nephews new babies. Baby girl born with (gene defect from both parents, they didn't know they had) cerebral palsy (sp?) Too early to tell how it will play out for her.

Try putting your spool of thread onto one of those spool holders that sit on your sewing table

or into a tall narrow glass with the slit at the bottom of the spool, so it unwinds at the top.
I have had to do that before......

Good Luck.

I "should" be hand quilting my double quilt or machine quilting my lap quilt. What I did was another block for my Sylvias's Bridal Sampler. I'm addicted to it.

Working is what I will be doing - Business - finish longarm quilting twin quilt and trimming a quilt I finished for another customer last night. Personal orgainizing fabric on sign boards and working on appliquing a table runner for Monday sewing group. Will I finish probably not!!! This is also between the Ga./Fl football game - maybe put fab. on boards during that time. Happy Quilting!!!!

So far I'm making a dent in the seat of my recliner. I am trying to get motivated but I am weary in body and mind. The weather is cold and dreary; it's warm inside but I can't get warm myself (a fibro thing); my concentration is poor; I think I'll just keep looking at pretty quilt photos. :D
