I'm finishing a baby quilt. I've been working on it this past weekend, and promised myself that I'd get it finished before tomarrow. Have to tie it and finish the binding, better get going, don't ya'll think! :)

Oh how yummy that sounds! Think I'll visit your house with a fork while you're gone, someone HAS to do it. :)

I just finished making 3 Kalidascope center pieces. One is 16" as a gift for my sister, and the other is an 18" for the center of my table. They were experiments and turned out better than I expected. Paisley print of Burgandy, tan gold, red brown and the other side I did in Christmas prints so they can be used for two seasons. Now I have a childs quilt to finish this week.

Plan to bind a child's quilt and label it for grandniece due in 2 weeks, maybe less. Hope to start sewing a "Romantic Hearts" twin size quilt for another grandniece for Christmas - she is 11 years old and very much into music so focus fabric is black with very bright musical notes on it. I forced myself to use only fabrics in my stash when cutting out the pieces last week over 2 afternoons and it was a challenge! A simple pattern from a magazine, it should go together pretty quickly which is good since Christmas is not far off. Somehow need to get some housework done too.

More Christmas presents! I have 2 pairs of boxers to finish, then back to PJ pants and shirts. That'll probably take up the weekend, though I'm going to the LQS for a sale - may get some FQs on sale to use in my planned Christmas wall hanging...

I'm making aprons for a local group who meet a couple of times a month to cook, bake and arrange flowers to pack up as gifts to be delivered to those in the community needing a little ecouragement. As I am not always available to cook, my contribution will be aprons for those that do. I'm using Mary Mulari's Church Lady Apron pattern and I love it. It takes about a yard of print and another yard of a contrasting fabric and is totally reversible. I am making a dozen and have three done so far.
