I like to use the 10" squares to make half square triangles, then from HST you can make so many different designs: pinwheels, chevron.... To easily make the HSTs, put 2 of your 10" squares with right sides together, matching up raw edges. Make sure you have a good contrast in color and design. Sew around all 4 sides using your 1/4" seam allowance. Now cut your finished square diagonally both ways, cutting a big "x" through your square. Now you have 4 HSTs! Have fun, whatever you do!!!

Missouri quilt just did a new tutorial on the disappearing 9 patch with charms. You could use this also with the crackers and even cut them done to 5 inch squares.
