Since the colors are soft I would choose a soft green or blue for sashing. What a great find.

I think that would be really nice...like those enveloppes you buy with seeds in them...you are so lucky...thy are really wonderfulll....i love painting....these give me inspiration!!

I like the framing idea in groupings. Or make small wall hanging in groupings.

i wonder if she used tri chem paint? if she did that paint lasts forever i too wonder why the daughters didnt care to keep their mothers blocks to make a quilt for their family to hand down i guess some people dont care but im sure the mother is smiling down at you while you finish it

That would be really pretty... in either plain black or brown if you end up sashing them in brown. Thank you for sharing. I'll bet it is TriChem, they were in vogue during that time...
