Beautiful quilt. Love the fabrics you chose. The borders and corners you suggest sound good.

If it were my quilt, I would use the darkest material for the corner squares and also use in the binding which should make your quilt pop.

This is beautiful. I think what ever color you choose will be wonderful. I love your inspector. Everytime I lay a quilt in progress on my bed my inspector jumps right over and lies down on it. I think she is testing it out for later.

Don't know about the corners, but on the borders, I would use all colors equally except very little dark purple & dark green.
It's a wonderful quilt.

Regardless of what you do the quilt is awesomely beautiful. I love the star in the corner and I would run enough of the border strips to match the width of it and one more border all around to finish the quilt. Post the final picture, please.

Simple, just outline yoour helper kitty and repeat all over the quilt when you finish. That is an amazingly beautiful quilt and a pretty nice cat as well.

That is a beautiful quilt and I think you are doing just fine on it and do not need our help. Love your kitty.

I also think that your quilt top is gorgeous! The wide band of dark purple in the border seems to overwhelm the light, airy feeling of the rest of the quilt. I think a 1" wide band of it in the border looks more in tune with what is in the top of the quilt. Pick a lighter color to replace it and I think you will be much happier.
