    i did think of that first, but do you think the transfers would hold up to that kind of washing?

    you could do pillow cases, tote bag, a panel quilt, a table topper, and you could use different tones of brown and even some black in there....or there is such cute dog bone fabric, if you could find one in beige and brown.....so many ideas, i bet you are now overwhelmed!!! good luck in making your new friend something.....gina

    I would out line them , scribble quilt between then, stuff the dogs to get a wonderful 3 D effect and you have a fantastic picture.

    After checking your stash,if you have to buy fabric I would look for some brown with paw prints on it.

    I'd make a Medallion quilt using a large piece of the panel that includes all the dogs, surrounded by pinwheels til you get to the size you want.
    Tote bags are a neat idea, but speaking as a quilter who has a gazillion I would not want another one.
