Cut on the bias for binding makes it interesting. Tablecloth, napkins, pillowcases, anything for your picnic!

I am thinking a clown quilt using these as borders and/or clothes for the clown(s).

My suggestion is that you mail them to me! I love the bright colours. Seriously, they would look great in a rail fence and any child would love to have the quilt (and lots of adults too, for that mater!)

Anybody have some awesome ideas other than use it for a backing or a circus tent?

    Thanks!
I love the diamonds - I used fabric like that for my son's Halloween costume because it reminded me of a clown! A child's quilt with a clown appliqued in the center and the stripe for the border would be so bright and fun!

I like fabrics like that for binding on children's quilts.

Don't know how you'd make an umbrella quilt, but that's what the stripe looks like to me. Maybe applique embrellas on a beach scene with a nearby picket fence. Lots of possibilities.

there is actually a pattern for circus animals on a train (I think, on a train) and it would be a blast to do an old fashiioned under the big top kind of quilt with these fabrics!!!

Hi, I believe I have the striped fabric in my stash someplace. I think it was called Joseph's coat. Today I was watching Sue Hausemen's show and she used a strip fabric (which would be cut on the crosswise grain), folded in half and used it as a ruffle to go with a quilt she was using with coordinating colors. It was very pretty. It was show #2913. It is a method I am going to try. :-D
