The same thing happened with my niece- We fixed it by putting a large half square triangle in one of the colors of the quilt. Looked just fine

I can't even figure out what the stiletto is pointing out. So I'd say- not noticeable.

Wow, you did an excellent job of hiding that extra piece! And batiks are good for that kind of "creative construction"! I also want to see what others advise when this happens, but will keep your solution in mind for the future!
