Log cabin. I've alway loved them since I saw many Log Cabin quilt tops on my grandmother's quilting frame. She gifted me with one of the tops when I graduated from high school, and told me to buy my own backing and told me how much I needed. When I brought it to her, she scolded me for "paying too much!" for the material! (It was 98 cents a yard and the prettiest percale...and it's still as pretty and bright today as when Grandma backed my quilt top with it!) I promise I'll post a pic of the quilt soon...I need to get familiar with posting pics...
