WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUILTING BOOK AND WHY?

I have 2 different favorite authors - one is Nancy Johnson-Srebro who has 2 books with rotary cut patterns of people, animals, etc made from squares and triangles. They are called Block Magic. the other is Around the Block series by Judy Hopkins. Again, they are rotary cut patterns for lots of traditional quilt blocks. Both sets have cutting dimensions for multiple sized blocks and I seem to use them over and over.

I think may favorite quilt book was my first "Lapquilting" by Georgia Bonesteel. It started my on my love of quilting. I have to limit my purchasing of quilt books, so I try to buy the books with just quilt blocks, past and new. I have lots of plans in my head and fabric waiting to become new projects and quilts.

My favorite is Reversible Quilts by Anita Murphy. This book is fantastic for beginners. I have used her method of quilting for almost every quilt I've made since. Her two color binding is easy to make. It's been out of print for years.
