Default What is your favorite ruler?

I bought a quilt in the day kaleidoscope ruler. I really really like it! I need to think outside my box more on things like this. What is your favor ruler and why?

my favorite is the 6 1/2" x 24" fluorescent laser cut ruler. it cuts WOF. and i can line it up perfectly because the laser cut is easy to see on the fabric/block. i should have gone with all fluorescents as they are easy on the eyes.

My favorite ruler is an Olfa 6 X 24 Frosted. Has black lines and not too many of them so it is easy on the eyes!!!

This is one of my more recent acquisitions - I like it, too, for the same reasons. The lines are fine/skinny.

Quilter's Rule with the raised "grids" on the back was the ruler first recommended to me (over 20 years ago) is now one of my less liked rulers because the lines are so thick/wide.

I have two rulers that I couldn't live without. The first is the 8.5 x 24" Omnigrip and the second is the Easy Ruler Jr 3.5 x 9". I use the large one for all cutting and squaring up and the smaller one I use for trimming and the 45 degrees when needed. I do have about 20 different rulers, and have tried various ones, but, these two are my lifelines.

I like my 6x24 ruler best. I love that it cuts WOF.

I always told my Beginning Quilting students that if I was stranded on a desert island with my quilty stuff, I would have to have the following rulers with me (All are Omni) 6" x 24", 3" x 18", 5 1/5" square and 1" x 6". You can do ANYTHING with that combo!

I like my 6.5X12 creative grid ruler. http://www.creativegridsusa.com/categories.cfm

It is frosted and sticks and the black lines are easy to read. I also have the 24 inch (?) one, my "yellow" lined rulers lay by the wayside!
