Like tote bags or jackets or hats? Just curious.

I have pretty much sewn only a few tote bags (how many does one need?) and a couple small quilts. I'm learning I'm a smaller projects person. This is after years of sewing clothing for myself and my kids, and later cloth dolls, when I stopped sewing clothes for real people.

Oh, doll clothes are much harder than people clothes. And Barbie clothes are the hardest. I remember sewing those when I was a teenager.

    I only quilt quilts.

table toppers, wall hangings, dog quilts, and hot pads. Can't forget the hot pads, can use up extra quilt blocks that way.

I have done placemats, runners, toppers, and tree skirts, but didn't do any fancy quilting on them. Like Buttwefli19, I am a small project person that shifted over to quilting from others types of sewing. Frankly, the making of the sandwich and the quilting are my least favorite parts of the process, so does that make me a piecer rather than a quilter?

I've done placemats and purses and I have a extensive collection of jackets and a couple coats that I have made. I'm making a shirt now and have plans to make a log cabin jacket.

I've done wall hangings, purses/totes, table runners, dresser toppers, hot pads and of course, quilts!

I will be getting my stash down then will start sewing totes, placemats with napkins and mug rug sets, oven mitts and pot holders, hot pads, 18-inch dolls wardrobe for Christmas give-away and every dolly gets a quilt, I also have several cloth doll patterns with complete wardrobes, a few wall hangings, pin cushions but my favorite of all are my cloth dolls that go to younger children at Christmas giveaways.

I will also make 2 cat beds from one I saw at one of the Dollar Stores.

Have never made coats or Jackets.

Mug rugs! Hubby loves them. Room for his coffee, phone, and sometimes a cookie or two.

Mug rugs, tote bags, Christmas stockings, placemats, table runners, and more. Making smaller projects is very gratifying as it reduces the number of UFOs!
