I have..or are letting all my quilt magazines expire. But
when I did subscribe to several, McCall's was my favorite
and American Patchwork and Quilting comes in second.
Just don't see much anymore that peeks my interest, and
have more than enough from books etc. that I want to make.
Just seems like a waste of money..for me, anymore

My all time favorite was "Applique Quilts" no longer!! SAD

But I love Fons&Porter's, they also put out several special issues during the year too like "Quilting Celebrations" and etc.

My overall fav is American Patchwork & Quilting, and 2nd is McCalls. I like QNM for reading, not so much for patterns :)

I've loved Quilters Newsletter Magazine for years and years and years.

American Patchwork and McCall's are the only ones I subscribe to. They have different things, like that bargello quilt American recently had that uses 116 different fabrics. I love Australian Quilting but it's not even at our B&N anymore. Thanks for the tip on trying eBay.

Have you noticed that all the patterns in the magazines are promoting one line of fabric? Did the fabric companies pay for the promotion? I have a stash I'd rather shop than go to a quilt store, but the patterns seem to be made for that one line of fabric.

I gave up my subscriptions, but here and there buy a magazine...like Quilts and More, the Quilt Shop magazines, and I do still like the Australian Patchwork and Quilting...I used to get all the issues when it first came out, but haven't bought an in several years...not that they aren't good anymore, because they are, but I have so many, I am only trying to buy magazines that have more unique things in them.

I let all my subscriptions go as the magazines just piled up and then finally went to the library after I read them, of coures. Seems like a waste of paper to me. I have gotten Paper Fabric Scissors on line, but that is more of a craft mag.
