It's been fun to read people's responses to this.

My husband came up with GlitzyMe about 15 years ago when I first went online because I can't seem to call anything finished until it has a touch of glitz. My given name is Christine but I detest it (sorry to the other ones out there)and I don't answer to it. The reason I hate my name is because only one person ever used that and the subject shall remain closed. I tried to tell the nurses 44 years ago when my first child was born but they kept calling 'Christine' to wake up and she didn't. It's truly subconscious. I answer to Chris, Dear, Mom, Nana and Glitz.

My youngest granddaughter named me Super Grandma when she was five. She is now twenty-five. All the grandkids younger than she call me that. When the first great grand came along, I tried to teach him to say GG'Ma. He managed G'Ma, and I have been Super G'Ma for the last eleven years. The two oldest granddaughters still call me GrandMa.

My daughter's name is Sylvia. She passed away at age 19. I think of her and miss her everyday. In the neighborhood I was known by all the kids as Sylvia's mom. And there is also the song Sylvia's mother.

My nickname is my first name, Chuck. The middle part, bere, is from the first NHL player that I met personally in Nashville. His name was Drake Berehowski. The 15 is Drake Berehowski's number from his jersey while he played for the Nashville Predators. And that is how I became Chuckbere15.

Mine comes from my little poodle Tinabug. She was my daughter's sweet dog. I lost my darling daughter in a 1997 car accident, she was just shy of her 22nd birthday and a med school student. My only child.
Tinabug was 15 1/2 in 1999 when she finally went to be with my DD. I miss them so much.
But every time I see Tinabug's name I smile. My avitar is my "new" girl Lacybelle 5 yrs. Let me tell you she is a real charmer and I love her very much.
