What a loving memory you have of such a loving mother. I sent my youngest sister a picture of me quilting she said when she looked at it her thought was OH! how happy Mama would be to see this. Mama was a true hand quilter bless her soul she has been gone #'s of years so they do leave a always thought of them.
I like to wear flip flops so the avitar is for that, but I use my real name.

I came I when there were already 64 pages of postings...this is really fun to read. Mine is because I love to garden, in fact was deep into that before I became a serious quilter a little over a year ago. I'm glad for winter when there are no distractions although the seed catalogues are arriving and the sweet potatoes are sprouting.

When I found my Red Hat sisters (I already had red hats as well as purple hats, my wardrobe was 50% purple and I drove a purple car - I was a Red Hatter in search of a disorganization that would have me!) I was dubbed Madam Sew and Sew, since I sewed and sewed ... hence MdmSew'n'Sew.

Oh, that hurt me to even read as I absolutely love hostas.
Mine is maybe not so obvious, but it's actually my name, weird as it is.

Mine is taken from the Disney movie, "Sword in the Stone." It is taken from the character Madam Mim, who is an evil witch that does a sorcerer's duel with Merlin (and loses after Merlin turns into a germ, she catches him, and takes to bed sick with a cold.) She is twisted, silly, slightly dark, and deliciously bad.
