Wow, those are amazing. You did a great job choosing your colors. I'm envious of people who understand color and what goes well together. Luckily I have a lady in my group that I run my colors by if I have something picked out. She'll look at it and say, "this shade is too blue for what you need, you need something more...." And I've found she's right.

I'm doing up 2 Warm Wishes for teenage boys right now.
They go together fast and always look good.
Am using sports and local animals as the focus blocks

Looked up the TOSSED 9 PATCH. LOL, another name for the D9P! I do like this for an easy quilt. And I made several of the TURNING 20 quilts --------------personal quilt sized last summer.

Default A few of my faves...

Just Can't Cut It, Take 5, Take 5 Flips a Coin...but my very favorite is Crazy Eights. It's crib size, takes 8 FQs, plus a border if you want, but not necessary. Easy peasy!

Unless you like the hodge-podge look of the unplanned scrappy quilt, the beauty of ANY fast quilt is entirely dependent upon the color palette of your fabric choices. If your fabric choices are in the color palette range than you deliberately choose and stick to, then you will have a beautiful quilt, even if it is 12 inch squares, no sashings and a hidden binding. Color is everything. Of course with larger quilt blocks, then your quilting gets a chance to shine.

Patience Corner is fast and easy. We used it and a nine patch to teach beginning quilting this past August. A camp for ages 7 to 107. The little girls and big girls loved it. T
