I always have several things going at same time--tomorrow I need to finish cutting and kitting the last part for our guild president's blocks; I need to get a friend's table runner quilted, start on the designs for her TV lap quilt, quilt my sis's place mats for Christmas; and finish (blocks done, just have to put together then quilt) my DD's Christmas quilt. I know it sounds like a lot, but just found out today that I will be jobless this week while pool (I teach water wellness) repaired--so have lots of time.

Start the BHMQ mystery starting November 29th, and continue to work on my 1.5” batik scrappy. I’m cheating on this, I’m using pellon quilter’s grid. I have 2 of them ironed, only 18 more to go. Plus finish 3-4 twin to lap size quilts to donate to charity or give away to family members.

Finishing up two Christmas table runners for gifts. The first one is ready for binding and the second is ready to go under the needle and be quilted. After they are done I have too many projects that have yet to be started! The hard part is choosing which to start first.

I'm making myself a new purse and putting together 2 quilts, one is a gift for my god daughter and the other is for my step daughter. Both are in different stages of completion but neither should take that long. As for the purse I chose the fabric and hardware, I've changed the pattern several times now so I need to make a decision!

Apart from all my UFOs? 8 Linus tops quilted and bound this week with a pile still to do. I want to pluck up courage to try a 'written' label on my Janome 8900 for the Linus quilt my 8yr old grandson has made. It;s a long time since I used the alphabet on my 4800 so I guess I need to open the 102 pages of instructions!

I need to bind the UFO that I finished quilting last week. Then I’ve got to get moving on DGD’s 21st birthday quilt- want to get it done by 11/24. Meanwhile I’m slowly making progress on the collaged orbs and arcs for the quilt I started in the Danny Amazonas workshop back in August. Also need to work on gifts for barn friends!

We all sound the same! I too have a lot of things going at one time. Just finished embroidery on a friend vintage stockings. (She wanted to put names on them.) This was on my small 4x4 Brother! Thank goodness another friend in our group is an embroidery whiz. That was a challenge. Also finished another vintage stocking for someone that needed hand sewing. (Yes I know I need to say no but these are friends I really care about.)
Also finishing a table mat made with strips cut into 60° triangles.
That was great fun.
Quiltingshortimer enjoy your time off!

I'm having a mini quilt retreat for myself today. I am washing about 20 yards of red with 3 color catchers. Making a Christmas quilt using the Goose in the Pond block using reds and white. I bought the most gorgeous red Christmas fabric that will be perfect for this.
