I want to make two Christmas table runners with some fabric I've been saving all year. I finally found a pattern in one of my books for a block I like and I want to get started on these by Thanksgiving. I also have some cookie plates that I'm making with fabric backs on them. I wish I had more time to craft. I'd much rather do that than work.

The Castle Wall quilt for my grandson's first birthday. It's in the last issue of Block magazine. The panel was already sold out when I ordered the day after the magazine came! It sold out fast. I found the panel at another online shop but was able to get the layer cake and backing from Missouri Star.

Whatever it is will have to be scrappy. I am bound and determined to use up some of my stash. I just have to stay out of my LQS. I'm weak.

While not cleaning/switching my quilting area, I've been sewing on a customer quilt..2 of them made from old shirts and the fabrics are already cut. This will be one of the most "interesting" processes I have ever done. Customer had started the project, got stuck and I am now finishing it. I'm dealing with many issues with and doing the best I can. Can't wait to get back to my own sewing!

I am going to finish my bowl cozies and then get back to the tree I am making with bosal moldable batting. I will show pictures of the tree when finished. I have table runners cut out and some sewing done on them so That is on my list also. I cut all this out last spring to take on our 4 month out of the heat for summer, well I did not get much sewing done in the trailer. The time flew by and I brought it all home.

My machine is going for regular service next week, so I'm getting hand applique projects ready - one wool, one melon quilt - and will probably try to finish knitting a scarf I started last year.

I ordered the panel to make the Castle Wall quilt too! My grandson needs a quilt for his new big boy bed. I ordered it as soon as I saw it in Block magazine. I wanted to buy two panels but I guess I got the last one as two showed out of stock.

Scrapping!! Another large bag of scraps donated to our Stitch for Linus group to be sorted. We are always grateful though.

When all the scraps are sorted and sewn, I may get around to pulling some yardage and following a pattern ....... and if you believe that will ever happen . . .
