What's your quilty resolutions for 2012?
#31
There are some wonderful goals listed here. I do hope at the end of 2012 we re-visit this post and see how we all did with our resolutions!
Mine are:
1) Complete (without falling more than one week behind) my first Block of the Week adventure;
2) Practice FMQ as much as possible;
3) Spend time in my sewing room at least 4 times a week; and,
4) Learn a new technique (maybe applique?).
I am excited about this year - I think it is going to be a good quilty year!

1. Complete my Michael Miller BOM this year (2012) that will be starting next month without falling behind.
2. Finish my 2011 Michael Miller quilt (ready to go on the longarm) and start the matching bedskirt and finish the 2 pillow shams.
3. Teach a monthly Sylvia's Bridal Sampler and complete 80 blocks.
4. Learn to foundation piece.
5. Finish my cousin's Turning Twenty quilt (cut out ready to piece).
6. Complete a queen size Turning Twenty quilt for my DS and DDIL.
7. Become active in the quilting quilt I joined. (It is in Little Rock, AR a 3 hr drive from me. They have a lot of outside speakers and some workshops I want to take.)
8. Have fun!

I've never had good luck with this one!
My resolution is to buy more Batiks. A lot more. I have all manner of prints but I never make anything out of them because nothing strikes my fancy so they sit. When I go fabric shopping I buy blenders trying to make something work, then stroll by the Batiks and think of all the things I could make with them. When Batiks go on sale I'm going to replace my print fabrics for equal Batik yardage and donate the print fabric to charity.

Oh my - my quilting goals (resolutions) for 2013, to finish 2-3 UFO's, buy no new fabric unless in dire need of a fabric fix, reduce my quilting book/magazine library, sell some fabrics and books, organize my fabrics, make 10 charity quilts, become a "quilt for kids" co ordinator for the Eastern Shore/Delmarva.
