Late in the evening when you know you're not going to be interupted. The Dogs are sleeping, my daughter is watching TV and no man to tell me to come to bed! Yeah I'm single, well seperated for the last 6 years. But thats when I like "going to pieces"! Ha! :P

Anytime I can sit down to sew and the dog is not barking and whining and I don't have to hear "Moommm" or "Honeeey" That's a happy quilting day.

I am probably the happiest when I am sewing the pieces together and see what I am creating. Always happier when the sewing machie is running like it is suposed to and the stitches are pretty.

I think I'm happiest when cutting fabric. I don't know why because I love the whole process of quilting but I could sit and cut fabric all day.

i just love sitting at my frame quilting. I am currently quilting on a quilt that my aunt made. I can't wait to start on my next one - using diamond shapes that my grandmother cut out before she died back in the 40s.

My happiest moments in quilting are when I've found the perfect fabrics for a new project (whether it's new fabric or from my stash) ... and then later when I'm piecing and seeing it all come together!!

We should start a quilt coop and each do what they love best and pass it on. LOL

I'm a process person like Ronna. I love the process of designing it, finding the fabrics, sewing, and quilting. The only part I'm not so thrilled with is the binding. By that time I just want it FINISHED so I can begin the NEXT ONE!!

I love selecting the fabric, putting different combinations together to see what looks most pleasing to the eye(well, my eye anyway-lol). My other favorite part is when a project is completed, which makes it rather ironic that I am the owner of so many UFO's. But I love to look at a completed project and anticipate the reaction when someone receives it!
