Well, I plan to start on Monday. I did not get any of the quilts done that I had planned for this year. I was machine quilting one, and it had way too many tucks, so I am unpicking. Also, I hope I don't feel as rushed.
I am also trying to organize my home, and then hopefully, I can get my hubby to make me a set of machine quilting frames. Have the directions, just need to have a place to put them.
I am also doing seasonal placemats and tablerunners for myself and both daughters. I have a lot to do, but I will spend time each day working on them. I will be ready for Christmas next year.

I will start making Christmas for 2011 in March or April.I already have some snowmen embroidered out for a throw quilt for my sis.
I am so busy during the summer months I have to get things started early. Then I finish them up at the last minuteLOL

I asked the same question last year and I have some WIP's and I'm not going to tell myself the same thing again. Come Monday I am going to pull the ole machine out and clog up the apartment and stop saying what I am going to do and get something done.

5 years ago, I started a Christmas tree skirt for myself. Why do these (the ones we do for ourselves) seem to go to the back burner? I've just about finished it, but it's so pretty I can't bring myself to cut the hole in the center for the tree trunk. I've thought of hanging it on the wall at Christmas time. What do you think?

Every year I say I'm going to get an earlier start but once the holiday is over I'm sick of Christmas and put away all the holiday fabric to get on with the next project or holiday. I got to a retreat right after the new year so I usually bring a new project that I haven't started yet.
