I miss Liz as well...I"ve seen the new version of the show with Marianne's daughter, it's just 'ok'. Liz added so much to the show. But I'm glad she was able to do what she wanted and retire. I wish her all the best.
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

I took a class with her years ago and can attest to that.

I don't get any sewing quilting shows on PBS here. I get my shows on-line at QNN, etc. I didn't reup my TQS membership. Priced out of my bracket. LOL

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that F&P doesn't charge for their show so your PBS station won't have to pay to have it. Write your local PBS and see what the deal is.

As for the new show, lets give them a chance. It's really easy to take over for someone when they are not good, but when they are really good, they leave behind very big shoes to fill. I think it's nice that Marianne and her daughter get to do a show together. And they also make sure we know when it's a Liz pattern or idea that they are talking about.

It was my understanding, years ago when I took a class, Liz introduced Mary Ann to her brother and they got married so they are sisters by marriage. They seemed really happy about it but that was about 10 years ago.

I miss her. I have seen a few shows now with Mary and I just don't care for her style.

I would rather watch Liz than Marianne! And, that's not intended to put Marianne down...I just liked Liz!

If you have directv it is on the BYU channel 374. Simply Quilts has completely gone off the air so I'm told.
