I also have been making a sewing room and organizing. It is a job and one job leads to another. I have all my fabric put away most of it in the basement. I will post a picture also once I'm done. I thought it would take a couple of days but I'm on 2 weeks just because I decided to clean basement to have room for containers of fabric.

LOL! My DH has offered to do that. I feel too guilty but I may have to rethink that!

Thanks friends. Finally got to sew a little today.
I really embroidered. Found I needed to move a few machine parts next to the embroidery machine...but its working so far.
And even cleared out a little of the other room...will post a picture when i get it cleaned.

Your sewing room is beautiful!!!
And looks so BIG. I love all the
wonderful armoires you have for
storage and how neatly your fabrics
are folded.
Don't you just love the ability to see
all your fabrics at once? Sure makes
choosing colors for a project a lot easier!
Congratulations on a terrific job! I know
you will enjoy it.

Donna,
I do love seeing my fabric...when I covered it with a drape I felt very irritable...so I opened it up once again...plan on painting some bifold doors black and attaching and some shutters to shut during the day...but couldn't stand the curtains over my fabric. I found it amazing...but truly effected my disposition while in the room.
thanks for the comments...most of the furniture were yard sale finds....except the pie safe and cupboard with the quilts on it and the wall hanging shelf.

I love your room you have done a wonderful job with it, and I don't blame you one bit I wouldn't want all my fabric covered up either if I had the fabric like you have, it's a beauty to see all in it's self. :D :D
