White fabric
#13
I have several different white-on-whites in my stash (don't care for plain white) as well as several variations of blacks as well as plain black and several creams. Seems as tho I'm always needing white, black, or cream for something and having some stashed works best for me.

I always keep white/cream/beige/off white in the stash - it is very good for making scrappy quilts - mix with all those colors and you always have a winner. Get a lot of fat quarters or yardage - you will use it eventually

I used to use alot of white and bought bleached and unbleached muslin by the bolt. But now I use more white on white fabric and rarely ever use just a plain white or natural muslin. I stock up on white on white or natural on natural fabrics when ever I can find a good price , when I do the minimum I purchase is 3 yards .

If I find a white on white that is good quality for a good price, I buy as much as I can. White can be used with any quilt, love it with pinwheels, very pretty, like White for contacts in different paper piece designs, and have fun making your quilt

As others have said, let your first few projects guide you - unless you see a mamma-jamma sale on white. Then go nuts!
