I've searched and cannot find the thread posted about the Janome that would not stop sewing. I'm thinking of buying one at Hancock's but cannot remember the model that was having the problem.

I have had this same problem with my Janome 6500, also stops with the needle down when it is not turned on. I was told by the dealer "nothing wrong" I also heard there is a sensor that need cleaning or adjusting or something internal. ???? I let my machine sit for 6 months trying to decide what to do. I took it out again recently and it has been working fine for the last month.
