    i save little bits of batting, too little scraps and thread tails to put into dog beds for the shelter. and i try to remember to save selvages for a friend who uses them.

    That's what I do. The snippit bin is what I use to stuff pet beds that I donate to the SPCA. I use fabric that I don't like or my quilt practice sandwiches to make the beds. Smaller ones go to the kitties, larger ones go to the dogs.

    Friend & I save embroidery threads. Hope to eventually make fairy wings or fantasy fabric. I like the idea of thread bowls. At the moment it's in a large jar sitting on a shelf.

    I save mine with the small scraps of fabric. Eventually I will use it to stuff things. dog beds, pin cushions, etc

    This is a new one. I think I save too much stuff now with small fabric scraps and small pieces of glass from my stainglass projects. No thread for me. I am trying to clean out the too small other stuff I have been saving.
